Our mission is to promote innovation and economic development, particularly within the state of Michigan, by publishing books about entrepreneurship that both inform and entertain. We have previously published Rebuilding the American Dream, written by local entrepreneur and author Robert Skandalaris, and are currently working on The Entrepreneur's Game, a novel that teaches young people about entrepreneurship, technology, and innovation via storytelling. Instead of presenting concepts through the dry, boring medium of a textbook, "edutainment" books like The Entrepreneur's Game seek to educate by engaging students' natural curiosity and love of a good story. "It is much easier to teach students when they are genuinely interested in and excited about a subject, as opposed to being force-fed," explains the book's co-author, Amber Clark. "Introducing the subject of entrepreneurship and innovation through the context of a fast-paced, dynamic story is an ideal way to engage teens' interest, particuarly in our entertainment-oriented culture."
