Shipping and Returns Policy
Shipping Method
On single orders, Pembrook Publishing uses United States Postal Service Priority Mail® with delivery confirmation, which provides delivery within the U.S. in an average of 2-3 days from the date shipped. Alternatively, we also offer the option of free shipping using United States Postal Service Medial Mail®, which generally provides delivery within a week. Most orders ship within 1 to 2 business days from the receipt of the order. Delivery by a specific date cannot be guaranteed. If you would prefer a faster method of delivery, different carrier, or need to ship to a location outside of the United States, please contact the publisher directly at aclark@pembrookpublihsing.com.
Shipping and Handling Fees
All shipping and handling fees for books shipped domestically using Priority Mail® are included in the purchase amount when you select "2-3 day shipping" on the Google Checkout button, as well as Michigan State Sales tax if applicable. Shipping is free for single books shipped via Media Mail® (be sure to select the "free shipping" option). Additional shipping charges may apply to packages shipped outside of the United States or using a different carrier or method of delivery. Tracking Your Shipment
For books sent using Priority Mail® with delivery confirmation, you can track your shipment online at: http://www.usps.com/shipping/trackandconfirm.htm. Pembrook Publishing does not require a signature for delivery unless the customer specifically requests it.
Availability
In most cases, items that are in stock are shipped within 1-2 business days of receipt of the order, and are delivered an average of 2-3 business days after shipment when using Priority Mail®. Occasionally, however, books listed on the Pembrook Publishing website are not in stock and available to be shipped immediately, for one of the following reasons:
- On back order—The current print run has sold out and we are waiting for the next print run to arrive. If this happens, Pembrook Publishing will notify you of the estimated print date and give you the option of cancelling the order.
- Available for pre-order—The book is available for pre-order, but is not yet available for shipping. An estimated ship date will be provided on our website at www.pembrookpublishing.com and the order may be cancelled at any time prior to the estimated ship date.
- Out of print—The book is out of print and is no longer available for purchase. If we receive an order for a book that is out of print, we will cancel the order and issue a refund.
Undeliverable Packages
Occasionally, the United States Postal Service and other carrier decide that a package is undeliverable for one or more of the following reasons:
- Incorrect or ineligible address or address format
- Carrier does not deliver to the address
- Failed delivery attempts
- Refused by recipient
If a book is returned to Pembrook Publishing as undeliverable, we will contact the customer via email and refund the charges for the order.
Cancellation Policy
Orders may be cancelled by the customer up until the time at which they are shipped, which is generally within 1 to 2 business days of the receipt of the order. Once the order has been physically shipped, it may not be cancelled by the customer.
Returns and Exchanges Policy
Due to the nature of our product, all sales are final and may not be returned for a refund. If an incorrect item was shipped, or if the book was damaged during shipment, please contact the publisher directly at aclark@pembrookpublishing.com within 30 days of the receipt of the shipment. We will overnight a replacement at our expense, along with a self-addressed stamped package to return the damaged or incorrect item.
